Simple Green removes the wax from the paint correct? The reaon I am asking is I got wax on my trim and need to get it off. I don't want to go out and buy stuff to do this, I am trying to use what I have.

It's not a good idea to get it on the paint. I doubt it's particularly good for the rubber or vinyl either. Probably not to bad for plastic trim.

I like #39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner. for removing wax from trim.

    PC.

i think simple green is too rough. since its strong enough to take off caked on grease from the engine, i think its too strong to just remove wax

I've taken off wax residue with just an of or terry towel (a little damp) and rubbing at the plastic a little.

Alright. Maybe I will just try a terry cloth with some Detailing Spray.

Try the detailing spray with a toothbrush, it's easier to get into the texture/cracks.
