  • Microfiber Quik Detail Pad Care Instructions

My question pertains to the care of the Microfiber Quik Detail Pad. I was wondering how I should take care of the pad? As in, washing it, drying it, storing it...I do use it with Quik Detailer in-between washes.

I clean them the same way I do regular micro. towels. I throw them in the wash with my other meguiars towels and dry them after. I use the gentle setting on both washer and dryer.

In between, if I don't have a full load of microfibers to wash, I will hand wash under lukewarm water with Woollite (actually the Kroger brand), and let air dry. Comes out perfectly. Just make sure to rinse well to get all the detergent out.

HEY No Fabric softener to keep it nice and fluffy ???

(please be advised this was a JOKE- never under any circumstances apply fabric softener to a microfiber towel)

Not so funny. Shortly after getting married, my new wife did something "nice" for me. She washed al my shop towels. ALL of them together that is. The terry cloth, the microfibers, the greasy old beach towels that I use to change the oil, everything! Worse yet she BLEACHED them then dried with FABRIC SOFTENER sheets
When I found out I smiled, kissed her on the cheek and thanked her. Then secretly went out to buy new towels!

              Aw...bummmmmer.

That's just about as bad as mom cleaning up your room and (you) not knowing where anything is afterwards!
