  • #40 and wax

I always find I have overspray on my black trim/rubber seals, and taking the time to tape everything off is a PITA.

2 days ago I tried this, I wiped down all the black trim/rubber with #40 then washed my car after. Looks great, yet inorder to get the rubber seals around the door/trunk/windows I end up getting some #40 on painted/waxed surfaces.

Is this safe? Or have a removed the wax from these areas?

    Hey,

Though I would avoid getting it on the paint as much as possible, it should not hurt anything. Just use Quik Detailer and a MF towel; and wipe off the paint where you accidently bumped it with the #40.
