would like to experiment w/some other megs cleaners/ waxes. have applied nxt, dc3 & 21 to my 3 cars. i understand the # 12 is an excellent maintenance wax for daily drivers. if i apply the #12 to any of the above, will it strip off what i already have on? do i have to strip off (w/80) what i already have on? would like to try the #12 and GC. how can i go about it ? all vehicles in great shape and are white, silver & sunset orange metallic. would greatly appreciate some combo suggeastions other than 16 and or 26. saving them for winter prep.

You do not need to strip the old wax off.
It really is not talked about all that much here on MOL but Meguiars Cleaner Wax #12 is a great one step product I have used it many times and it is very easy to use and provides good results. Its in just about every store you can imagine and it is priced very well.
I have never topped #12 with anything you shouldn't have any problems doing so, I am sure others will chime in on their experiences.
I prefer using dedicated cleaners then polishes then waxes on my vehicles but for most time does not allow all these steps. Products like Meguiars Cleaner Wax and ColorX make it easier and less time consuming.Last edited by gb387; Jun 25, 2005, 07:23 PM.Brandon
