ok, time for me to know more about waxes. im looking into working on my computer case, which seems to be clear coated! whoa.... i did the polish test ( appl y polish to applicator pad, apply polish, then check pad. if the pad is the color of the paint, then it is a single stage paint, if not, then it is clear coat ) should i do another test? im surprised that it is clear coat. anyways, i wanna make this thing shine like no other. and the face that it is black makes me want to do it more. so should i use a caruaba wax instead of a synthetic polymer like nxt? i heard that carnuaba gives more of a wet look. im thinking of going through #80, followed by #7 ( how should i apply it? i think i remember applying a thin coat and removing it without letting it haze.. true? should the product be worked in? ) then topping it off with 2 layers of wax. no need for it to be protected from the elements since it just sits here. ill post some before and after
