Water Magnet Towel, am I missing something?

I've recently ordered over $200 worth of Meguiar's products to try things out, hope to have time next week to call about an issue or two, and maybe even order more this time to get my hands on all the items, its becoming a crazy hobby, where one person told me one of my cars was so shiny that it didn't look real, lol.

Anhow, I have two of these towels, and they do not leave a streak free dry, unless I follow up right after it with another dry one? Not what I excpected, I figures something called a water magnet would be more like a softer absorver or something.

Don't get me wrong, it is a nice towel, good size, and could be washed without falling apart, but an absorber and then a plush microfiber for a final wipe seems to get the job done much faster and less streaks right after a wash. What's the deal?

I have had very good luck with them.... might get some streaks from time to time, I washed my truck last night and didn't get any streaks. IF I do I follow up with a quick detailer.

Do you run your hose without the spray nozzel to sheet the water off? That will really help dry the vehicle faster.

I dry the car with Water Magenet , then another pass with supreme MF.

Yes, it works with a followup, but usually that is not needed with something like the absorber, only a final wipe down at the end. How do you all think it compages to something like the absorber, and how is it better?
