Which Mequiar's wax is best, or better?

Seems like Meguiars has so many waxes. I used to use the consumer Gold Class Wax, and recently have been using the Deep Crrystal Step 3 wax as I was trying out the DC system. I have sense moved to the pro product line for polishing.

Which of these is better and why? I still have plenty of gold class to use up. Both are available at almost any auto parts center. Also, what wax would you consider best, the NXT?

I have been using cleaner polish, and speed glaze with a DA for a killer shine on a BLACK car that people notice after a few hours of work, now I wonder which wax protects all that work the best. Thanks.

There's no doubt that the key to your success has been that fact that you have been doing a great job preping the paint (cleaner and polish). The Wax is just the "icing on the cake".

I think you will find that Mike and the folks at Meguiar's will tell you that the NXT is their longest protecting product.

As for which wax is the best, that's really a personal choice. The only opinion that matters is yours. My adivice would be to try all three that you mention and come to your own conclusions.

I have tired Deep Crystal #3, #26, #21 and NXT... on my black truck I have found that I like the look of NXT over the other waxes. Just my preference.

Can you describe the different look you get with each of those waxes?

I feel the DC#3 seems to bead water a bit better, and gold class has a little bit more shine. I have yet to try NXT, will order it with my next batch of products.

Meguiar's has yet to get back to me about distributing products in my region, though I will try everything before I start.

If anyone has used 3 or more of their waxes, compare them here on how they differ, and why you like what you like.
