Hi. I am new to Forums as of yesterday and frankly I do not know how to start a new question, etc. I have Moto Metal black factory painted wheels and I am wondering if Meguiar's Detailer's Wheel Brightener would be safe to use on them. Please advise.

Re: Meguiar's D140 Wheel Brightener Question
My two cents, black wheels are a pain. That being said, I find Wheel Brightner is something I use regularly on old grungy wheels that show a lot of brake dust and road grime on the inside barrel of the wheel. It does a fantastic job loosening the tough, brown, rust looking stains hidden by the outer wheel. For the outside face of the wheel itself, especially on black wheels, I've noticed a cloudy film that seems to build up over time. And this is just one example of course, but Wheel Brightner doesn't help here. Try a Magic Erasure on a small area if that is your problem.
