I am trying to make the right door shiny like the left door. it was painted a year ago. Now that i have bought a buffing kit with polisher i am trying to fix it. what should i do?

It is tough to say exactly what is going to work, there are a lot of variables with a re-paint, you potentially could try everything short of wet sanding, and the gloss may not match equally to the areas which were not re-painted.
I would recommend starting with a clay bar, then using a mild cleaner/polish product like our M205 Ultra Finishing Polish, and work your way up in aggressiveness from there.
What is including in the kit you bought? What type of machine & pads & liquids?

i bought a da polisher with orange ,white and black pad
a claying kit and a compund similar to m205,a polish and a wax.
Perfect, start with a polish, do a test spot, then evaluate/inspect. Work your way up from there. If you need to use compound, using a polish after, will most likely improve gloss, prior to waxing. Below is a link to an article with some notes you can reference:
