I don't believe there is a really good product or solution for this type of surface. Because of the textured finish, it's difficult if not impossible to completely remove any paint care product you apply.
You could apply a dressing which would improve it's appearance, but anything you apply is for the most part going to be very topical in that it will be sitting on top of the surface and probably won't last very long in inclement weather or after a wash or two.
I would suggest the Hyper Dressing at a 3:1 dilution ratio which will give a nice satin sheen. Be sure to apply it, leave it sit and then wipe thoroughly with a dedicated MF towel.
I just recently purchase a '05 Jeep Wrangler. Has anyone tried the hyper dressing on the hard top? Mike suggested the trim detailer...but I would have to have a gallon of the stuff to sray the whole top. I love the trim detailer too! I use it on the black spoiler on my 4Runner. I needed another car like a hole in my head. My husband actually bought it new in Utah. I wont even get to see it for a couple of years until he drives it home to Florida. He bought some NXT and was asking me what else to get for it. So any suggestions let me hear them about the hard top.
With dial up I just don't get online that much. But, good news!!!! We are getting broadband in our area the first of the quarter. Looks like I wont live in the sticks any more! I hope to participate more in the forum.

I've had two jeeps with hardtops. I really don't think that there is anything that can be applied to the top. Wash it as you would the rest of the vehicle. Be ready to have it repainted when it gets too faded.
