The above tools have REALLY made my life a whole lot easier! It is amazing how well these tools work. They combine the right amount of rigidity and softness that just plain works!

I really do not suggest using the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser around paint, especially around trim pieces and emblems. On the textured trim perhaps, but not around the trim or emblems.
I'm going to do a small section test on a work truck when I get home. I'm curious just how abrasive the ME is. On textured non painted trim it works wonders. I'll report back.

Just to repost, the original poster was asking about removing wax from around the emblems. This would put the eraser in direct contact with the paint. This would create marring in the paint.
A 1 inch paint brush works well to remove dried wax. The secret is to wait until the wax is really dry. Overnight is best. A brush labeled for latex paint has feathered bristles.
