If it's just the random chip here and there over the life of the car, your manufactures touch-up bottle would be sufficient. Even a factory matched batch from companies like automotivetouchup.com. Then of course it depends on your color. Is it a basic black or a pearl effect tri-color!?
Thanks HCAD, I have the black pearl paint. There are a lot of rock chips on the front end, way more than I can ignore and enough for me to consider getting the whole car repainted...

I do not have experience but it seems to be the way to go around here. In regards to buffing on treated areas. You would ideally want to perform any paint correction first, and then do the touch up treatments. But yes, you can buff over any touch up paint, they are quite durable, but you still want to be cautious & not get too aggressive.

Also... how do these spot treatments hold up under a DA polisher?

Paint chips - Dr Colorchip still the way to go?

I did a search on repairing rock chips on paint - is Dr Colorchip still the way to go? I just dab, smear, polish, and be done? Does anyone have experience using this product?
