Help! What are these dark spots?

I just did my pre-winter wash and seal the other day, which is basically:

• two-bucket wash with meg's gold class soap
• two-bucket wipe down and dry with ONR
• Opti-Seal (synthetic polymer sealant)

It looks great and shines up real nice, but I noticed a few dark spots in some areas under close inspection with a spot light:





These were not present beforehand.

Some possibilities:

• I may have applied a bit too much sealant (I was eager and didn't review enough instruction ). If that's the case, with these will just fade over time as the sealant wears? These spots are only visible in a dark environment with a spot light. I couldn't see them in hard, direct sunlight.
• Moisture trapped under the sealant? I tried my darndest to make sure it was completely dry.
• Clearcoat marring from buffing too aggressively?

It is tough to tell from the pictures provided. Based on your process, i would guess & say that these are some "high spots" in the protective sealant you are using. In general, when this happens with the style of sealant you are using, it needs to be polished or compounded off, and then re-applied.

Yeah, sorry, it's difficult to get a good picture of this. Here's one I took with a better camera:



If that is the case (over-use of product), is there any harm in leaving it? Will it just fade as the sealant wears over time?

Again, this only visible under direct spot light in a dark environment. I can't see it at all in broad daylight.
