  • aluminum wheels hard to clean

The newer automobiles , Jaguar, Silverado, Saturn and many others with the fancy aluminum wheels and many with all disc brakes, takes at least an hour and a half to clean because of heavy buildup on the inside rim. The majority of auto owners seen to ignore this area probaly because it's too much trouble.
I have a half dozen wheel brushes and soak down good with the basic tire and wheel cleaner from DNW automotive, this is the only product I have that doesn't bear the Mequiar's name.
Is there an easier way to clean the inside of aluminum or any wheel for that matter, any good feedback appreciated, Jimbo.

    Hi Jimbo,

    Welcome to Meguiar's Online!

Besides a safe and a effective wheel cleaner to loosen and dissolve built up road grime and brake dust, do you have some good brushes?

Do you know Meguiar's has introduced a brand new line of Gold Class Accessories including two wheel brushes and one tire brush?

Hey Mike, which wheel cleaner (solution) in Meguiar's line do you suggest should be used to tackle the grime Jimbo metnioned?

Thanks Mike for the reply, should have used the right tools and wheel cleaner to begin with, many of my brushes are from Walmart and a few part stores, the plastic handle becomes slippery when wet and the harsh wheel cleaner is eating up my fingers and burns . Proudly say that at least 90 + percent of my detail products are Meguiar's products because they work, personal experience and this online forum has proven that Meguiar's is definately the best.

        Thanks, Jimbo
