Hi, been looking at Meg's products for cleaning and protecting rag tops (convertibles that is) and could not find any. Even the search options failed to return anything. Did I miss something here - what are you using to clean and protect your tops?

Besides car wash soap, Meguiar's doesn't offer any chemicals for cleaning or protecting canvas tops. -
I use RAGG TOPP made by Haartz... best I have used and very happy with it.Comment

As I understand it Meguiar's has not introduced convertible top products because of the specialized nature of toppings. Their regular car wash shampoos are fine for routine washing.
Haartz, the biggest manufacturer of OEM topping materials, recommends RaggTopp products.

Well that explains why i did'nt find anything when i searched for rag top cleaners etc. Seems odd to me that a company specializing in auto detailing have not come out with something for rag tops. Washing with soap or other cleaners is fine, but the added protection from protectants cannot be beat. The product i use right now (well its almost empty) provides months of protection... water just beads up and rolls off.
Since I have 2 rag tops, corvette and Z28, i like to protect the tops.
