  • White Wax to last the winter

Not sure but probably it is my last time to wax my car for the winter.

My car has not been waxed for 2-3 months so I would need the extra cleaning power of the White Wax. We usually like to apply UQW after WW to bring out the shine. How about for durability? I need this wax to last and protect my car for the winter.

    Hi mis3,

White Wax provides great durability, utilizing it's Carnauba & Synthetic blend. That said, it is not necessarily our most advanced, full synthetic protectant we offer, so the use of a spray wax in between after washes will be great to extend the life of your original wax coating.

If you are trying to get extended durability but still use a cleaner wax, we might suggest our new Mirror Bright Polishing Wax. This will not have as much cleaning ability as White Wax, but MB Polishing Wax actually has durability which is closer to our Ultimate Wax.

    Hope this helps

I will definitely use UQW during the winter months, after touchless car washes.

The car is now inside my garage after the wash/wax with White Wax. If I have time tomorrow, I will apply a 2nd layer of wax tomorrow. Not sure if I should use ULW or #16, any suggestions? #16 used to be the most durable Wax but not how it compares with the newer waxes.

Paint Protect 365 is also an incredible product. That is if you decide to go over it again. It goes on and off very fast, and leaves an incredibly slick finish.

One word of caution though, is that it's very easy to over use it.

I am not aware of this Paint Protect 365. Maybe because it's a relatively new product, it is not available in Canada.

I finally decided on the #16? So, #16 on top of WW. No need for UQW, right?

Use ULW. It will be a bit more durable than M16. You can still use UQW with either topper.

I used #16 yesterday, after one-day cure of WW. I decided on M16 because I had only a little bit left, maybe 1-2 applications.

Now that I have 2 layers of waxes on my car, why should it be topped up by UQW? I only use UQW between waxes.

Use UQW as a maintenance product. You can use after every wash as a drying aid if you wanted to.

This is what I thought. After 2 layers of waxes, my car is smooth and shiny. I don't see how UQW can further improve the shine.

I use UQW between car washes. There is a touchless car wash near my house and I use it a lot in winter months. If weather permits, I will rush home after the wash to UQW.
