I have a 10 year old bottle of ColorX still in my supply cabinet. I recently purchased a new-to-me car and would like to wash, polish, and wax the paint. Is 10 year old ColorX safe to use? It has been stored in a combination of cold winters and hot summers in the garage, but more recently indoors at room temperature.

Re: Old Bottle of ColorX
I have been trying to find ColorX for about a year now, so a 10 year old find would be great for me. It is not milk, so I would not expect it to go bad. I certainly would try it if it were me. I had some old Turtle Wax, that had to be six or eight years old and I waxed my central air unit with it and it was fine. I would expect ColorX to be fine, unless it has gone lumpy, and even then it is probably still good. Someone may come along and say it is garbage, but I would try it, again, if it were me.
