  • NXT Tech Wax and uneven penetration ?

I have a new 2016 F-150 shadow black . I applied NXT Tech wax and notice that there are places it appears
the wax penetrates at different amounts

This is noticeable after removing the dried product. and you can see uneven areas of darker shades.
It sort of goes away if I hand polish that area a lot . Is it possible I am not letting the product dry long enough.
I also use many MF towels and I am turning them over often.

Other then that it has a mirror shine and beads well

    Thanks

    Rob

My guess, too much wax. I use ultimate wax though. What you describe happens to me if I put on too much ultimate polish, real pita to get it off the paint.

Most often times, after investigating, usually one of the following factors can contribute to this issue:

      • too much product
      • way too much product
      • not enough dry time
      • low quality towel
      • not claying the surface prior to application (if the paint needed to be clayed)
      • not working on a cool surface in the shade

You should be able to remedy the situation by re-applying a super thin & even coat, allowing the product to fully dry for at least 10 - 15 minutes, and removing with a high quality microfiber towel.

      Hope this helps
