Meguiars Wax for Outdoor Furnitures

I just bought a new outdoor wood garden bench and just applied the first coat of urethane. I will apply the second coat in the next few days.

I am wondering, since I have many Meguiars car waxes, if I can use them for the garden bench? I figure that the urethane would act like a clear coat to the wood.

After urethane you are finished. Wax is not necessary.
