  • Which product will remove these spider webs?

2015 MINI Cooper JCW w/ 10k miles on it. Daily driven, looks decent when shined up, but would like to largely eliminate spider webs.

No access to onsite water (will be using "waterless" products to wash it), no access to dual action polisher like I had before, as I now detail in my parking space at an apartment complex. I will be detailing at times in direct sun. Looking for "pretty darn good" not flawless.

These are pictures of my car unwashed. First two pictures are of plastic pilar pieces on the car that are very shiny and scratch incredibly easy. The last three pictures are of the car door. The entire car has fine scratches from the previous owner all over the car. Step 10 feet away looks great though when waxed.

From reading threads and looking here, I feel like I need SwirlX to apply by hand:

BUT....I've read posts to the effect of "Ugh, if you're doing it by hand, go straight to Ultimate Compound, as it'll take forever with something less abrasive and the abrasives break down with enough work/time to a fine finish."

Ultimate Compound sounds like a finishing glaze, and while it would make the paint look really nice, I'm not looking for flawless for this daily driver, just "pretty darn good" and I don't want to be working on the car all day. In my new living situation with no DA or garage, I'm really trying to strike a balance with my daily driver.

    Thoughts? Thx.

Get ultimate compound. As the name states, it is a compound and not a glaze. Swirlx is a polish like ultimate polish and M205. A polish is used to refine the finish and impart gloss. It is optional depending on how ultimate compound finishes. Also get yourself some advil or aleve lol. You are going to need it doing it by hand.

Post pics when you get it done.
