Paint Decontamination after Rustproofing

I recently had my F150 in for a Krown rust treatment and when I received it back it seems to have a light "film" of the product on the exterior paint, glass and trim. As the truck is white, I have used Iron-X in the past to remove the iron particle fallout, but in this case I think I am looking for a slightly different paint decontamination product. I spent the weekend searching the internet and honestly I think I'm more confused now than when I started.

Could someone please recommend a product (or two) that they have successfully used to remove oil and/or similar residue from paint? Ultimately the vehicle will be clayed, polished and waxed once the nicer weather arrives but in the meantime I would like to get the residue off. Thanks!

I use Rust Check, which is similar to Krown. Unless Krown uses something different, a simple wash with a car soap will get the oily film off your car. That is all I use to get the oily film off my vehicle. Unfortunately, if it is like Rust Check, the Krown stuff will "creep" for some time and will come out of seams, door jambs etc. for some time, and therefore will take several washes to get rid of it all, so you may have to delay your detailing for quite some time.
I get mine done in the fall after I have completed my final wax of the season so it can creep all it wants. Best for winter driving. Just wondering why you would get it rust proofed in or so near to spring? Fall rust proofing is best, because the spray is fresh for winter driving, and not all diluted or splashed away during spring,summer, and fall driving.

Thanks Blueline. I purchased the truck in December and had it sprayed about a month after taking delivery, so my anniversary falls about this time of year.
