  • NanoSkin Clay Pads

Has anybody heard of or used the NanoSkin Clay Pads? I went to a local distributor who mostly sells to car dealerships and he recommended one of these. The idea sounds good but I was wondering if anybody has used it and if so what do you think of it.

    Thanks in advance

    Re: NanoSkin Clay Pads

There are quite a few who use these clay alternatives. I have the fine grade and clay still picks up more contaminants. Clay alternatives are still great.

        Re: NanoSkin Clay Pads

I have a Nanoskin clay pad and it works fine and is said to last longer than clay. I have used it a couple of times on my older car, but still prefer to use real clay on my new cars.

I have one and love it. It's faster and if u drop it u can just rinse it off as with clay ur suppose to throw it away. But they are nice, but I do recommend having both clay and the pad in ur Arsenal.

I also have the nanoskin fine grade, love it, but would also use clay on heavily contaminated paint. I use the Nanoskin lube as well, I think it's called "autoscrub" diluted 7:1.

I have the nanoskin fine grade and have been using it for a year or so now. Done probally 6 or 7 cars with it. I really like it and it makes it quick. I do still get the clay out from time to time if I don't feel like changing my backing plate (6inch) just for say a small area, but I would highly recommend it. Still give Jarhead big props for turning me on to the nanoskin autoscruber

It's a big time saver I think. But I love it! Again I still have the clay in my Arsenal for its many uses.
