New Car - What To Do About Small Paint flecks/chips

I have a 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT and I use it as my daily driver. I am a bit anal about my car and I would like to know if the everyday small paint chips and flecks on my front bumper (they are approx. grain of sand sized) are something to worry about. Are they worth the hassel to fix them and can they be fixed easily? Also I get a few bugs splattered on my front bumper as well, is there anything I should use besides just washing it off?

Well, as a daily driver, it will be a bit harder to maintain that perfect finish. The best thing is probably using scratchX every so often to try and minimize the appearence of the flecks. Other than that, keeping a good coat of polish/wax on it will be the best protection.

I'm taking my GTO to the dealer to have some hail damage repaired. The body shop manager said he will touch up some stone chips free of charge at the same time. Paintless dent repair will take care of the hail damage. The body shop mgr. claims that the best thing to apply touchp up paint with is a tooth pick. I will comment on the touch up job tomorrow or friday.
