  • Oxidation !!!

    good morning, i have been trying out new ideas on how to remove oxidation. i have an 96 Lande Rover "BLACK" and it is getting a grey look in certin spots, does anyone have an idea how to wipe out the oxidation in the black paint.

    Welcome to Meguiar's Online!

    Just to double check, do you think it could be clear coat failure and not oxidation? If your Land Rover came with a factory clear coat, then chances are good what you're seeing is clear coat failure, not oxidation. The basecoat under the clearcoat is dull and polishing won't help it, only a new paint job.

      I have to wonder the same thing as Mike mentioned, clear coat failure. Do you have some photos of the area that you can post?
