  • Do you have to use a sealant after claybarring a car or can you just use wax?

I was just wondering if you can just wax a car more frequently after you've claybarred the car, rather than using a sealant. I know that sealants usually last a lot longer than wax, but what if I only want to wax (liquid or paste) and then follow up with weekly spray waxes, then put another coat of a liquid or paste after a couple months and continue the weekly spray wax? Will my clearcoat fail if I don't put a sealant on the car or can I get away with waxing more often?
