Darn kids, here is my post. I don't want to reupload the pictures again.

    My post:

No, just detailed and left it out front for the garage to dry. Neighbor knocks and door and says he is sorry, but his 9 year old kid was swining golf clubs in the front lawn. When he accidently let go and hit out car. He said he will pay for all damages. Car is 3 months old has 2800 miles, I wish it would have hit the door instead of where it hit, because its right on the edge and I highly doubt it will be paintless dent removable.

Sorry for the pictures, its so hard to get a good picture of how the dent truly looks.

What should I do, where should I go. I have not yet had anything to do with dent removal or paintless dent removal. I want to have the car back to 100% the way it was without any bondo or other ****.

    Hi frozen:

I'd highly recommend the paintless dent removal folks. After viewing your pictures (and frankly not seeing any dent -- I trust that it's there though... sometimes it's just tough to get a pic -- I understand) and reading your description, it sounds like it may be a very valid option for you.

My father recently got a baseball ding at the park while watching my brother's game. He was pulling away from his parking spot on the back forty and, while driving back by the field (the only way out), he was snubbed by a foul.

Enter a HUGE dent in his roof on his truck.

Obviously irrate, there wasn't much he could do while at the park so, he checked around and found a body shop that highly recommended it. Fortunately, it was a shop that he respected and had used once or twice previously.

It turns out, the dent was 95% removed. I saw it before and after and it's nothing short of impressive. The dent guy said he couldn't get the very last bit out because the impact of the baseball actually had stretched the metal slightly (which makes sense considering the impact of a ball on sheet metal).

From the sounds of it, your dent probably isn't as severe and could, potentially, be no problem for a good paintless dent guy.

Best of luck and let us know!

First thing first. Remember it is just a car. I know that sounds bad but in view of many other things in life it is super minor.

Your neighbor is honorable and did the right thing with approaching you with what happen and owning up to it.

Now you have to do your home work and find a competent shop to repair it. Find the best paintless guy and get his opinion first.

        Hey Forozen,

That dent is right on the fender edge? Hard to tell from the photos but the dent does look like it creased the edge slightly. I would try the PDR like RP suggested. But I have a feeling that they will not be able to remove the crease. It will have to be repaired; I hope I am wrong.

Thanks everyone for the replys, It is extactly right on the crease. Im going to take it to the dealer on Monday and see what they say. What do you think is the next step if PDR won't do the trick ? How do they actually fix something like this, replace the whole panel or ? Im not to fimilar with how body repairs are done.
