    So....I know this has been asked before, but as we prepare for winter, I'd like to protect my truck and the wife's SUV......and suggestions? Was gonna do a clay bar wash/polish/ultimate wax......sufficient?

    Sounds like a good plan. But clay after you wash.

          In addition to the paint protection, I also get all of my undercarriage and inner panels oil sprayed. Not much good protecting the paint, when the salt is eating away at the suspension and inner panels.
          I do get a laugh out of seeing a super shinny pickup, with immaculate paint, but the springs, shocks, shafts, etc. are full of rust.

            I'm with Blueline on the oil spray, you can even do that yourself. I use a product called Ballistol, it's like WD-40 but skin safe and biodegradable. I use the aerosol can and stick the plastic straw into the drain holes on the bottom of the doors and give the inside a good spray at all angles. I also spray the suspension components, my car is getting close to 20 years old and a daily driver through Ohio winters and in great shape rust wise
