Does anyone make a good wash mitt type setup on a pole for short guys with tall trucks? With a step ladder and by leaning over the truck I am barely able to reach the middle of the roof and the topper by hand and then worry about the rivets on pants pockets or buttons or zipper scratching the paint. I do not really want to use a brush, and washing the truck in my underbritches is not an option.
I found a cheap wash pad that threads onto a pole at a local store, it works ok, but it has a hard plastic under the pad that worries me since not much is protecting it from rubbing the surface. I found some scratches on the roof of the truck and topper on Sat. that were not there when I washed it the time before and I think it is due to the foam under the cheap wash pad that separates it from the hard plastic base breaking down already.
Thanks
