  • Removing Paint From Plastic ?

My wheel covers are in pretty bad shape, pealing paint and all. Is there a process to strip the paint down to the plastic ? Allowing me to freshly paint them over ?
They are the original plastic wheel covers that came with the car.

    Thanks....

Your best bet would probably be to lightly sand them by hand.

You don't need to remove all the paint - just whatever is already loose and also scratch up any remaining paint so the new paint will stick to it...

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Thanks Dave, I figured that would be the case. Though I thought there might be a better approach.
