Hey gang, been awhile since I posted. I traded for a different daily driver. We were needing a more substantial vehicle to tow our camper with than what we had so I got this used 2010 Ford F150. I am in the process of cleaning it up. Or should I say, removing all of the greasy silicone dressing that the dealer has left everywhere, lol. OMG, that stuff is sprayed everywhere. Surprisingly enough, the paint doesn't appear to be in too bad of shape swirl wise, but it does have some scratches here and there so I am going to get the DA out and work on it. I am going to start with just ULP and the top it with UL. I will post some pictures when I get done. Previous owners where elderly so the back has very little usage and the seats are in great shape. Worse part about the truck is the aluminum wheels all have some winter salt etching, but other than that.
My question is, on one of the mirrors, the previous owner must have scraped something so there is what appears to be white paint transfer on that. What is the best way to go about trying to remove that from the black part. These are mirrors that are half painted half black plastic.
Thanks
