Since you mentioned your paint is noticeably rough to the touch, the 1st product you would need to start with would be Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kit. It comes with everything you need inside the box. You'll start correct by claying your entire car and enjoy much better overall results because of it. Good luck!

Re: help me to care my car!

The products you have overlap each other and will do the same type of task. It's really hard to say what to use next. What is your end goal? Are you looking to correct swirls and other defects? How involved do you want to get?

Colorx is a cleaner wax or an all in one product. It won't remove the deeper defects but it will make the surface look good. So if you are just looking for a quick detail then use that after clay and reapply when needed.

The products you have overlap each other and you don't need all of them. I would stick with the ultimate duo. Check this thread out. Ultimate polish would be next to M205.

        http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums...t-surprise-you!

If you choose to get more involved then start off with a test spot with the least aggressive product. For example start with ultimate polish. If you are satisfied you can proceed to your choice of wax or synthetic wax. If you need more correction then move to ultimate compound. Follow with ultimate polish and then protect your hard work.

Are you planning to do this by hand or machine?

One thing to note is that with colorx being a cleaner wax, it will remove what ever you use before it. That's just the nature of the product.

Re: help me to care my car!

I believe the technical order would be SwirlX, Scratch X, Ultimate Polish, Ultimate Compound, and waxed with Color X... However that's a bit of overkill + lots of work for anyone to do, in my opinion.

Scratch X followed by Ultimate Polish on the lightest scratched areas then followed by Color X for wax.. But honestly If it were me I'd go straight for Ultimate Compound, then Ultimate Polish, then to wax.. However the Color X is a cleaner wax, and I believe it actually removes/cleans and lays it's own layer of polish, and therefore eliminates most of what Ultimate Polish did for you. That's alot of products. Maybe someone else can chime in on the best way to put it all together. Because part of me doesn't want to see you buy what you did for nothing.

Re: help me to care my car!

My head was practically spinning from so many products there.. I was actually trying to make a list of all his products in order of aggressiveness. However, I assume he's from overseas and therefore went through the trouble of ordering all those products at a premium cost, and a part of me didn't want to see him end up with buyers remorse over products he never even used.

Maybe it's just me but it bugs me when I buy a detailing product that I never end up using or ever needing. Even if it only cost me a few bucks.. So by recommending those steps I was simply trying to save him from that. Hope that makes sense
