  • Layering question

What benefit if any is there to applying multiple coats of any synthetic wax similar to UPW or sealant?

More just making sure to not miss any where...

I think it sometimes gives a more even look, like no smears or anything if one spot got applied to heavy.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

It can help. But don't expect too much. It comes down to the surrounding environment.

Are you looking to top a sealant with a carnauba? 2 coats of a sealant? What product are you referring to?

One is all you need. 2 is for even coverage.

                ^^^ Agree with Davey & Guz! ^^^

BTW... Routine use of a spray quick wax like Ultimate Quik Wax once each week wouldn't be considered layering. It would be part of your maintenance program to keep that fresh waxed look.
