What benefit if any is there to applying multiple coats of any synthetic wax similar to UPW or sealant?

More just making sure to not miss any where...
I think it sometimes gives a more even look, like no smears or anything if one spot got applied to heavy.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue -

It can help. But don't expect too much. It comes down to the surrounding environment.
Are you looking to top a sealant with a carnauba? 2 coats of a sealant? What product are you referring to?Comment

BTW... Routine use of a spray quick wax like Ultimate Quik Wax once each week wouldn't be considered layering. It would be part of your maintenance program to keep that fresh waxed look._____________________________
