    Re: Ultimate Liquid Wax results

The ULW and UPW are different animals! As far as the trim goes I never take a chance with ANY wax/sealant.

They are essentially the same product other than the ingredients in the paste wax to make it a paste wax. ULW won't stain trim as I've personally tested that.

What I was referring to is that they apply, set up (dry) totally different.

Ultimate Liquid Wax has been around for awhile, at least as long as I've been a hobby user of the product. I've learned to make it and your car look the best, you need a good foundation. Clean car, well clayed and polished with any of the many of Meguiar's products to enhance the shine of the car. ULW adds great reflectivity and has a great clarity of reflection. And important to me and the folks who's cars I've detailed, is longevity.

"Thin to win" is my mantra. Apply the product thin for the easiest to obtain outcome. Oh, and don't over work it. If machine applying, don't go over an area trying to work the product or "work it in". Apply it and move on. I've buffed it off after a few minutes and left it on over night. It removes easily.

All good stuff....am learning more each day....next question...where do I go from here? I really do not want to try anything drastic to correct the situation. Do I simply wait until the current coat of ULW wears out to wash/polish/wax again? Keep in mind....it's not something that I can not live with.

I would let it run it's course until your are ready to either polish or wax or both. In the meantime you can use ultimate quik wax to rejuvenate it every now and then until your next polish/wax session.
