I believe he is refering to NXT Glass cleaner. My biggest question in the original post, however is what to do with the mirror housing. NXT that as well?

While I believe NXT (wax, not window cleaner) has no abrasive cleaners, the solvents (or whatever it is) in the wax/polymer treatment does a great job of removing water spots on glass.
Originally posted by 99saturnsc1 I'll try that, thanx. Any thoughts on the plastic mirror housing?
Hi 99saturnsc1,
If you have water spots on plastic housings like your mirrors, you can try using a vinyl cleaner with a nylon brush. Meguiar's makes a dedicated vinyl cleaner call M39 Vinyl Cleaner.

Thanx for that. Are these products found in the consumer line or proffessional of Meguiars web site?....By the way Big to Meguiars my car looks outstanding, except the few swirls I can't chase away, all thanx to Meguiar products I've been using for years and might I say NXT ROCKS!! I just Qd'd the Saturn tonight even though it's gonna rain tommorrow but @ least it will be well protected (NXT waxed on Friday.) anyway thanx again

Quick question, are your mirrors a smooth hard black plastic? If so, I suggest using Meguiar's PlastX and a MF towel. The PlastX will remove any light marring while providing a protective coating.
Yes, hard shiny smooth black plastic. Plastx is a proud member of my arsenal but has not yet come out to battle other than headlights, taillights and instument cluster. Thanks, always glad to find new uses for old favorites.
Yep, those are the ones. Use PlastX with a MF cloth. Really work the product in using side to side motions only. When the product basically turns clear, remove with another MF towel. Give that a try!
