Mr. Stoops,
Yesterday in another post on the forum you mentioned something I had not known...
DUB Wheel Cleaner "contains the same active ingredient as IronX (but at a much, much lower price and it's available at Walmart and other auto parts stores) so it will react with the iron particles and help to break things down and make removal easier and more thorough. It comes out of the bottle in kind of a neon green color, and turns purple as it reacts with iron. Do this first, let it sit for a while but do not let it dry on the paint, then rinse it off thoroughly."
I am familiar with what IronX is supposed to do but it is not available near me, while DUB Wheel Cleaner is available near me. I have a 2015 Super White Toyota 4Runner with occasional small orange/rust colored specs in the paint. They are very hard to see unless you are looking for them. Claying will not remove them. Would DUB Wheel Cleaner be safe to use on the paint of a new car as long as I kept it wet? I would really love to get rid of these orange specs and hesitate to use anything too aggressive on a new car with such microscopic specs.
Thank you for all of your posts. You have taught me so much!
