A couple of rust spots developing. Thoughts?

Hello all,

I have been refining my detailing skills over the years, but recently my 05 Impala has started developing some rust spots. I don;t think they are horrible yet, but I'm not sure. I posted a couple of pics. Is there anything I can do about this myself? I've never attempted this type of work before. Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated.
