    I'm still trying to get back in shape from shoulder surgery.....No I don't even want to think of doing a job like this with out the rotary.....good lord no.

    Quick question, can a PC bring back to life a vehicle in that condition?

    Mike Phillips would be the one who would have the long answer to this question....lol
    but as far as I know the PC does not generate enough friction/heat to break down the diminishing abrasives that are in #85 and #83. So to the best of my knowledge I would have to say no.

    Thank you to everybody who posted/responded with and with feed back. Just trying to make America beautiful one vehicle at a time.

        Generally, I have to say, probably not. What makes the PC so popular is that it is so darn safe to use! It is not an aggressive tool and therefore would struggle with heavy oxidation. The most aggressive product that Meg's recommends to be used with the PC is #83 DACP and a W-8006 Polishing Pad. If this combo does not do it, the paint will require the use of the rotary buffer.
