  • what to use Speed Glaze 80, Scratch X 2.0 or Ultimate Compound with DA polisher

Im planning to polish my 2003 black MB e500.

Just purchased this Black Car the paint has light scratches and plenty of Spider web. I already Clayed the car.
I have in my cabinet Speed Glaze 80, Scratch X 2.0, Tech Wax 1.0 and I dont mind going out to get a bottle of Ultimate compound.
Im using a PC DA polisher.

My initial plans was to do a 2 step with my PC DA. use products I already have.
    1. Speed Glaze 80 and then go over with Tech Wax 1.0.
    2. scratch x 2.0 then Tech Wax? or
    3. Should I go with new products and get Ultimate Compound and Tech Wax 2.0?

FYI this is a daily driver and parks outside if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance for your wisdom.

I use #80 regularly, but it's probably not the best choice for your purposes. A test spot will tell you for sure, but I'd bet Ultimate Compound would be a better and more effective choice. Plus, UC is inexpensive and available just about anywhere. You can certainly use your M80 as a polishing step to clear up any hazing left by the UC. Once you get polished to your satisfaction, Tech Wax will work fine.

Yep, or ScratchX may even do the job for you.

Just try what you have on a test spot first and see if that gives the results you're after. If not, go and buy UC.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
