UC + UP or M105 + M205?

I know it sounds kind of stupid, but which combo would be my best option? I know the Ultimate twins are based on the M - series products, but is there a big enough difference between the two to make one better than the other?

If using a DA, I prefer UC followed by 205. I don't like 105 with a DA, 100, or 101 are much more user friendly than 105 and cut and finish better. UC is pretty hard to beat and very, very user friendly!

I agree with this. Save yourself the frustration and use UC. I prefer M205 myself. Can't go wrong with either polish. I would actually include D300 in the above statement.

I think either will work just fine. I've tried both combos with great results from both. I do use 105/205 as my go-to, but that's mainly because I bought the 32oz bottles...so plenty of product to use!

Another plus to the Ultimate duo is that they will be able to find them readily available at just about any store in your area. I know around here, there is pretty much no one that carries 105 or 205 on hand.

Well, which combo is no longer an issue because the wife sent me to the grocery store (Wally World), so I kinda-sorta (she don't know yet) picked up some Ult Comp and Ult Polish. Availability of 105 and 205 aren't much of an issue to me because I live near Summit Racing Equipment and they carry an impressive amount of Meg's Pro Line.

105/205 is readily available at oreillys, advanced auto, and pep boys and205 I've seen at autozone.but that's here in the chicago burbs
