Have a DA polisher from Harbor Freight, terry pads from AutoZone (blue and green, but no difference in aggressiveness)

Would using UC with terry pad at medium speed and UP at high speed make sense (will change pads between chemicals).

I don't really want to spent 5 hours on this car.

    Thanks.
You're going to use faster speeds for paint correction and compounds. You'll use slower speeds for polishing and waxing.

It's hard to recommend an exact process for you because the auto paint condition will determine that. It's best to do a test spot first though using the least aggressive compound/pad/method and then going to a more aggressive compound/pad/method if necessary.

I think you'd be better off using a cleaner wax as suggested. UC gets great reviews but it takes a little practice to get the hang of it. If you stop buffing to soon then you won't get the intended benefits from it and risk leaving some swirls or holograms; if you buff to long you can cause other issues. I personally prefer a non-diminishing compound such as M101 followed by M205. There are more steps involved but the results are phenomenal and more predictable, IMHO.

    Good luck,
    Ralph

Get some foam pads for the polisher.

One option is to use a cleaner wax if you don't want to spend a lot of time on it.

    **After**

Just as note. This was after one pass with mixture of M101/M205 (75% and 25% respectfully) and rotary with Meg polishing pad. Running around 1,500 rpm. It wasn't my goal to get all the scratches out especially those large ones above tire, which I didn't touch. I just wanted to see how it would cut and was really impressed. There is no telling what could really be done with multiple passes or steps.

ding, ding, ding; we have a winner! I can copy and then paste the "Medium Image" link, which is what Davey was describing, but without having to actually type the [img] tags. The reason I couldn't paste is because you must have actual text in the body. It will not let me copy and then paste without having text...

    Got it now. Ralph

Hey Guz. I tried that method numerous times but it has yet to work for me? I created a gallery, I then copy the HTML code for the image, I then go to the body of my reply and select "Insert Image", I then paste the HTML code in the URL box. I should at that point get a preview but nothing. Nor does anything show if I then post my message?

I then tried the Ultimage Quick Paste which is what Davey has been suggesting but still no luck. I will just keep trying until I figure it out. I'm running a quick i5 2.5ghz computer with Windows 8.1 so no issue there nor have I ever had an issue on any other site. My computer acts quirky with this site though because it's hard to type (literally) and then I cannot paste often. Not sure what's going on.

Maybe it's because you are putting a space before and after the URL..

That's the link above. However, if I put the quote tags around it as you describe [IMG] and [/IMG]

    then I still get nothing?

Sorry, it should have the http in there as well. Just copy & paste the whole thing:

    Seems to work for me.

Davey. What exactly do you mean by "paste the URL into my text"? You mean into the body where text goes and your supposed to be able to insert images?

    Anyhow,

I clicked on the image>properties and then copied the URL which it depicted above "http://www.....jpg

I then put the Img in front and /Img at end. The picture still doesn't show. Your example started with www. though so I'll try removing the http://.

I still cannot get the images to show?

As per instructions: I copy the HTML code link, I then click on the "Insert Image" icon. The code inserts fine but when I say "Save" or "Save Changes", the image never shows. All I get is a square box with an "X" in it which is a typical lost image issue of some sort? This can be seen in my last two posts...

    Ralph,

This is the way I do it:

    - Right click on your image and go to "Properties"
    - You'll see a URL for the image. Copy it.
    - Paste the URL into your text.
    - Now insert [IMG] before the URL and [/IMG] after the URL
    - For example [IMG]www.yourimageurl.com/image001.jpg[/IMG]
    - Now post your reply and that should work!
