  • how to slow the inevitable process of CC failure

Hey guys so, I know it will eventually happen but since I got a fiberglass hood and over the years it expands and contracts and heat gets to the paint over 16 years. I got tiny tiny CC cracks. Ive heard Ford did not use many CC coats from the factory during the 90s. Ive just been hand doing to hood with #7 and GC wax to keep it as moist as possible to keep it from getting worse. You can hardly notice it but it bugs me that ill need paint soon. any other products or tricks to slow the CC cracking down?

Thats probably about it... maybe Ult. Polish instead of #7 sometimes to get a little cleaning, lift some dirt out, but thats about it.
