Re: microfiber
I prefer the blue ones. Sometimes I use the yellow ones, but only in the morning...well sometimes mid morning. (I caught myself using the yellow ones once in the afternoon..too many beer I guess) ) I save the green ones for after noon only, unless I run out, and then use the blue ones. On special days, I use the black ones.
Seriously, everone will have their own favorites.

Re: microfiber
First off welcome to the forum.
From Meguiar's I recommend the supreme shine for compounds/polishes/wax removal, detail spray's and spray waxes. The water magnet is what you want for drying the car when washing.
I almost forgot about the ultimate wipe. These are awesome for removing waxes.

Re: microfiber
What he ^^ said.Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

While each of the above mentioned towels are indeed microfiber, they are woven in different ways and have different thread designs, that allow them to do certain tasks better than the other towels. For example, while the Water Magnet waffle weave drying towel does a fantastic job of drying a car, trying to use the Supreme Shine towels for the same thing is an exercise in frustration; they simply aren't meant to be water absorbent. But they do a great job of grabbing compound, polish and wax residue.Michael Stoops

Stick around the forums long enough and you learn a thing or two. It does help to have a good forum admin who kindly shares his knowledge.

Re: microfiber
I'm hesitant to recommend a non-Meguiar's product here on their forum, but if you are looking to save some money, I've found that the bulk pack of microfibers from Costco and BJ's warehouse clubs to be pretty good once you rip those damn tags off of them. The Auto-zone microfiber towels ****!!! They leave a fine fuzz behind on the car that looks like **** and is actually hard to get off if you are trying to apply a quickwax.2014 Mustang GT 6-Speed Manual

Re: microfiber
Be careful with the Costco ones. I used one and that one time I used it, it caused a nice little scratch on the black painted sail panel on my Camaro. The tag was removed. That is the last time a Costco towel has touched the paint. They are now for wheels, engine bay, etc....
By the way this is an open forum so you can recommend anything or talk about other products.
