  • Updated Product Chart

I have been doing some reading on some of the consumer and pro line products that are DA friendly and that I would use on a regular basis. I wanted to give myself a better idea on what products I could use to tackle a specific paint situation. I decided to complete a spreadsheet with the information I was looking for in order to learn myself.

I went ahead and attached to this thread in case anyone else was interested. Hopefully it can be helpful to someone. It has helped me a lot to learn the products and I am going to use it as a quick reference guide. The pads I referred to in the spreadsheet are Lake Country.

Is there anything that I should add on there or anything I have that is not entirely accurate? I had to come up with an educated guess on some of the abrasiveness lines since they arent specifically outlined and there is no real number to put on them.

It's a good start but could use some tweaking.

I just put the products on there that I would use regularly. It's still under development for the most part.

HOw about white/black wax? Yellow polishing pad can also be used for those especially for worse swirls and where can those 2 be placed among the cleaner waxes since those 2 do contain a fair bit of SMAT's as well.

I'll take a more thorough look at this over the weekend and bounce my ideas back at you.

                  Nice work on the spreadsheet!

I agree it needs WW and BW in the cleaner wax section, but also D151.

D151 and WW would be about even and at the top of the abrasive scale for cleaner waxes.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
