  • glaze after #80?

I detailed a maxima yesterday. I hit a couple spots with #83 that had scratches(it got most out). After that I did the entire car with #80 then nxt tech wax. What is this about a glaze and will it make a difference?

Well, technicaly, #80 is also called speed glaze.

But, to answer your question, a glaze is basically another term for a polish. The polish will add some nutrients and oils back into the paint. However, on a dark finish, polishing/glazing will also help add some more depth and shine. Since #80 and #83 are both cleaner/polishes, they sort of take care of those two steps at once, although as you saw, the #80 can build on the results of the #83. And then add your wax of choice after them.
