I'm planning to use Meg MF correction system (D300 & D302) prior to use Optimum Gloss Coat 10CC. The question is do I need to use 20%IPA prior to the coating or I can go straight to Optimum Gloss Coat after D302 application.

Re: D302 & Optimum Gloss Coat
I would IPA per opti-gloss's directions just to be sure the surface is completely clean so OG can bond to the paint.

Re: D302 & Optimum Gloss Coat
If Optimum tells you to IPA wipe before application of their product, which they do, then do it. Simple as that, really. Make sure you've got really good lighting and that you inspect very closely for high spots as the product flashes off. It's easy enough to compound this product off if you do something wrong, but it's an expensive enough product that you want to avoid this if you can.Michael Stoops
