I'm yet to see this vehicle until Thursday but im told that the interior of this certain 1980 cortina has suede from head to toe and some spot stains on certain areas. Which product if any would be best to use on this kind of surface?

Hi SprintKing,
This question came up in last weekends detailing class for Mustang owners, the answer is...
Lost Angels Mustang Club and Wild Horses Mustang Club at Meguiar's !
Meguiar's doesn't offer any specific products for suede. The nature of suede makes it very difficult to clean without affecting its texture and appearance.
Outside of a lint brush, I'm not sure what to recommend to you for cleaning and maintaining this type of material that doesn't also have a potential for causing more harm.
Perhaps someone else will share what works for them?

This new detailing tool in our new accessory line has just begun shipping, but I'm not sure how useful it would be for use with suede.
Meguiar's Hair and Lint Extractor

Back in the 80's I had a black suede jacket that got a little stain on it. I went to a leather store and they had what was called a suede eraser, basically it seemed like a largish white eraser with a very fine abrasive in it. It worked fairly well, but if you looked really close you could see where I had used it, but you did have to know where the stain had been. If I remember correctly the eraser was made by Tana. Good Luck.
