    Re: Problem with window trim

I've had problems like this on other cars, as well as a few others I know. The quick fix for it was to black it out with 3M pinstriping that fits right in the channel and the same around the rest of the window with or without the channel. It's not a permanent fix but it should last quite a while. Same care as regular pinstriping and a whole lot cheaper than new trim that will most likely go bad again. Just need a steady hand.

Never used it but would a thin coat of Plastidip work? They have glossifier, pearl, and metallizer to go on top now.

In my opinion plasti-dip is not that great My brother dipped his wheels with it and let's just say it was not on the wheels that long. He used the metalizer as well. I tried an area of black plasti-dip and the glossifier and it looked liked wrinkled paint. I peeled that right off.
