Use the NXT Tech Wax first, then use the Deep Crystal Wax as your topper.

NXT & Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax

      Mike,
How soon can you use the DC3, after you have waxed with the NXT Tech Wax?

Well you can apply the topper immediately if time is an issue. If time is not an issue, some people like to wait for a while to allow the first coat of wax to fully set-up.

Here's a thread on this subject in the Hot Topics sub-forum, which can be found in the Information Station forum.

Thanks Mike! today I re-clay the car used DC1+2 and NXT.
I'm going to let the NXT set and tomorrow I will use DC3, so far it looks great .

If I had to wait a few days(in which i drove the car) after applying NXT before applying DC3, should i be worried about dirt and contaminants getting on the car? if so what steps would i take before i applied the DC3? or would i fall in to the category of having to apply the DC3 right after the NXT?

You would be best applying any topping wax over a still clean base wax. You can QD in between, or I suppose ven wash and QD if you have to, but the best benefits will be right after the base wax. Getting everyday contaminats on your wax, and then applying over it, is just a recipe for rubbing something across your paint and scratching it.
