    My first ever detailing! Mequiar's wash, clay bar, polish, and wax!

    I started this morning at 0730 detailing the car, and buy the time I was done, it was 1700. What a PITA!!! But I'm happy with the results!

    I started with a wash and dry early this morning. I then clay barred the car, polished it, and then waxed it. Once that was done I shined the tires (wipe on shine) and wiped my wheels down. I finished with a quick vacuum and wipe down of the interior.

    I am physically beat!

          Turn out awesome! I know how u feel but not quite as long as u. I washed, Clayed, then deep clean on all glass, and began to tape off for UC. And as soon as I'm done it starts to rain. But just for about 15 mins. So I got back at it and got the hood, roof, and trunk lid done with just the UC and it started to rain again. But the whole process took me 5 hours and for my disabled body felt like 10 hours. And I'm still not done yet. Still prob looking at another 3 days at it for me.

            I used the Ultimate Polish and Ultimate Wax. I messed up and forgot to buy additional bonnets for my DA, so I applied the polish with a DA, and hand buffed it off. And then I hand applied the wax, and used the DA to buff it off.

                  Looks great. Be sure to find some UQW or GCSW for after future washes, and will stay looking good and protected a while.

                      What is UQW and GCSW?
                      I have to say, by the end of the day my hands were cramping up a little. The next day my car club sponsored a car show at a Hooters, and my wife drove out to meet me for lunch. As I tried eating my hot wings, my hands kept cramping up! I'll definitely buy the correct bonnets this time!

                        UQW = Ultimate Quik Wax
                        GCSW is probably a typo. Should be GCQW.
                        GCQW = Gold Class Carnauba Plus Quik Wax
