    Re: M26 vs Collimite 915

All things equal, 915 is a very durable wax, in fact, it can go head to head with some of the newer sealants in the market. As for the M26, it will definitely last many weeks, but is definitely not as durable as 915. But as mentioned, there are many, many variables.

There's a good discussion over on Autogeek at the moment about whether spray waxes actually boost your "base LSP", or just end up being the LSP when the "base LSP" is gone.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

I read that M26 looks very good on black. But something is drawing me to Collinite. This is a show car and looking for the WOW factor. Also not wanting to buy yet another wax. I have these on hand
        Meguiars M26
        Collinite 915
Collinite 476 which I believe is similar to NXT
        DP Max wax
        Mothers
Secondly should I mix brands? ie Collinite on top of Meguiars NXT
M26 will look great, but will not last. DP Max Wax and 915 will look great and last much longer. What I would do is divided the rear trunk panel into 3 and do a test spot with all 3 and see which looks better. Just remember that 915 and DPMW will last much longer then 26.

476s is collinite's most durable wax, works best on lighter shades, 915 is just a bit less durable but has a slightly deeper gloss than 476s, the difference isn't that huge though.

Again, if you prefer the look and ease of use of M26 and can live with having to wax more frequently, then use m26.
